Media, accounts and storage

ePlayer, developed by Zhenghai Cai, stores media-source settings, playback progress, playlists, favourites and preferences on your device. When you connect to WebDAV, SMB, Baidu Drive or Bilibili, the app sends the selected service the information needed for connection, authorization, browsing and playback, including the server address and the relevant credentials or access tokens. Those providers process the requests under their own privacy policies.

Keychain and iCloud

Credentials and authorization tokens are stored in the system Keychain. Synchronizable Keychain items may sync with your Apple account. With the required Pro entitlement and iCloud availability, source settings, progress, recent items, favourites and selected preferences sync through Apple iCloud, while passwords stay in Keychain storage. You can remove sources in the app, sign out of third-party services, or manage iCloud in system settings.

Purchases, diagnostics and permissions

Apple StoreKit handles purchases and restores, and the app reads verified purchase entitlements; Apple processes payment information. Local-network permission supports discovering and connecting to media servers, and folder access covers the local media you select. The app may write local diagnostic logs; feedback you choose to send through TestFlight, Apple diagnostics sharing or email is handled by those services and your choices. Please remove passwords, tokens and private media links from anything you send.

Website and OAuth callback

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the service, Cloudflare may process IP addresses, browser requests and security logs. The Baidu authorization callback page reads the URL fragment inside your browser and hands it back to ePlayer. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and the Apple Privacy Policy.

Your choices and contact

The ePlayer privacy manifest declares no cross-app tracking. You can remove sources, delete downloads and history in the app, and manage permissions and app data in system settings. For privacy questions, contact [email protected]. If this policy changes, the effective date on this page is updated.
