Connect SMB / CIFS

SMB is the file sharing used by Windows, macOS and most NAS systems on a home network.

Steps

  1. Open Add source and choose SMB/CIFS, or pick the server from “Scan the local network”.
  2. Enter the server address and the path, starting with the share name.
  3. Enter username and password. Domain / workgroup is optional.
  4. Run the connection test and save.

Tip

If ePlayer logs in but cannot open the folder, check the share name and that your account may access it.
